Plan availability

The Portfolio view is available for all plans.

The view is mainly beneficial for users managing more than one account.

The Portfolio view gives you an performance overview of all your Sites (Google Ads accounts) in one place. See the most important metrics per Site and how each Site is pacing against their CPA and Cost targets.

In this article, we cover:

  • How do I access the Portfolio view?

  • What can I use the Portfolio view for?

  • How can I customise the view, metrics and order?

  • Using favourites

  • Can I add more sites to the Portfolio view?

How do I access the Portfolio view?

If you have access to more than one Site as a BrightBid user, you will automatically be directed to the Portfolio view every time you login.

If you want to navigate to the Portfolio view

  1. Open the top Account navigation dropdown in the top bar

  2. Click the Portfolio link, see image above.

What can I use the Portfolio view for?

The Portfolio view is where you should start your day's work, here you get a quick overview of how all your accounts are performing in one place.

Instead of going into each account in BrightBid to see how they are performing, the Portfolio view gives you an instant overview of where any possible issues or performance drops occurred, guiding you where to spend your time.

These are the main Site metrics & statuses that are displayed in the Portfolio view:

  • Performance metrics over the last 30 days compared to prev. period

  • Forecast spend the current month VS target Spend

  • Forecast CPA/ROAS current month VS Target CPA/ROAS

  • Anomalies, issues or flatline alerts

Customise the Portfolio view with filters, metrics and sorting

Site or Organization view

Use the Sites / Organization toggle to either show All sites [Sites] in one list, or group the Sites under Organizations [Organizations], If multiple Sites belong to the same Organization all metrics from the Sites will be presented as a summary in the Organization row

The Organization listing is useful if you have lots of companies with multiple sites and want to know how the sum of all Sites are performing. Typically this is usefull for bigger agencies and large organizations.

Customise the view: Data range, order by and searching

Use the Search input to easily find Sites you are looking for. Site name, Organization name and Google Ads ID can be used in the search field.

By default your favourites will be displayed at the top of the list, this can be changed by the Order selector at the top of the page.

The default date range is the previous 30 days compared to previous period, the date range can be changed.

Note that the date range only changes for the performance metrics, not the Target spend and Target CPA, as these always show the current month-to-date metrics.

Metrics

The metrics that are displayed can not be changed, the list displays Clicks, conversions, CPA(Cost per conversion) and Cost. More metrics and performance data are available if you click the Site and view the Site Dashboard.

Using favourites

In the Portfolio view you might want to always have your most important Organisations on top of the list, this can be managed by the Favourite feature.

Click the Star next to the Organization name to make it one of your favourites, unclicking the star will remove the Favourite label.

Can I add more sites to the Portfolio view?

All Organisations that are assigned to your user will appear in the Portfolio view, if another user or administrator added an Organisation that you would like to have in your Portfolio view you need an invite from that user. Reach out to the Organisation admin or the support team to get help with this.
