Step-by-step guide on how to setup your BrightBid free trial.

1. Sign Up with Google Account

What You’ll Do:

  1. Click Sign up with Google on the onboarding screen.

  2. Choose your Google account.

  3. Grant the requested permissions

Why:

  • Secure, one-click account creation.

  • Ensures we can connect to your Google Ads data immediately.


2. Connect Your Google Ads Account

What You’ll Do:

  1. When prompted, click Connect Google Ads.

  2. Approve the required scopes from the pop-up window

  3. Select the Google account you wish to link

Why:

  • BrightBid needs both read & write access to the Google Ads account to analyze performance and perform optimization adjustments.


3. Create Your BrightBid Account

Fields Collected:

  • Organization: select existing or enter a new name.

  • Account Name: e.g. “Acme Corp – Q2 Campaigns”

  • Website URL: your primary domain (must start with https://).

  • Language: for UI and AI copy suggestions.

  • Country: determines currency and market data.

Why: These details power reporting, localization, and AI recommendations.


4. Business Details

Fields Collected:

  • B2B or B2C: choose your customer type.

  • Business Description: 1–2 sentences about what you sell and who you serve. The description is used in prompts to describe your business so try to make it short and consistent.

  • Industry: select from dropdown (or “Other” + description).

  • Brand Name: your public-facing brand.

Why:

  • Tailors AI bidding strategies to your business model and market.

  • Improves relevance of automated ad copy and targeting.


5. Add Credit Card to Start Free Trial

What You’ll Do:

  1. Enter your credit card information (via Stripe).

  2. Confirm to start your 14‑day free trial. No charges until trial end.

Why:

  • Verifies payment method upfront.

  • Enables seamless transition to paid plan after trial.


6. Set Target CPA/ROAS and Monthly Budget

Fields Collected:

  • Target Metric: choose CPA or ROAS.

  • Target Value: enter your goal (or accept AI suggestion).

  • Monthly Budget: your maximum ad spend for the month.

Why:

  • Directs the AI engine’s optimization goals.

  • Ensures spending stays within your financial plan.

Q: Why must I use a Google account to sign up?

We leverage Google sign-in for faster setup and to securely connect your Ads data.

Q: What if I get a “Consent Required” error?

Make sure you’re signed into the correct Google account and grant all requested scopes.

No—link only the accounts you wish BrightBid to manage.

Q: What’s the difference between Organization and Account?

An Organization is your overarching company; an Account is a business unit or brand within it. We recommend you to have one Organization, you can connect multiple accounts to an Organization.

Q: Why do I need to specify language and country?

This ensures your AI recommendations and default currency match your market.

Q: What if my industry isn’t listed?

Choose “Other” and enter a brief description—our AI will learn from the text you provide.

Q: How does my brand name affect performance?

It helps our engine align messaging and bidding to your brand’s tone and competitive set and make sure you don’t mix generic and brand terms cross campaigns.

Q: What if I don’t know my CPA yet?

Select “Auto-suggest” and our system will calculate a baseline from past data.

Q: Can I change targets mid-trial?

Absolutely—you can tweak CPA/ROAS and budget any time, these metrics are mostly for reporting and alert purposes to make sure you are following your targets.

Payment FAQs

Q: When will I be charged?

Your card is authorized at signup but only charged when your trial ends—no hidden fees. After the trial your card will be charged monthly.

Q: How do I cancel before being charged?

Go to Settings → Billing and click “Cancel Trial” at any point prior to expiry.
