Make paying guides simple and efficient—set flat rates so Brindlechute auto-fills payout amounts and streamlines your payment process.
1. Have Guides Connect Their Bank Accounts via Stripe
Guides must first connect their bank accounts to receive payouts.
They can do this by logging into their Guide Profile and following the steps to connect via Stripe for secure direct deposit setup.
You can track who’s connected by going to your Guide List:
If the Bank Account Status shows red (Not Connected), the guide still needs to set up Stripe.
If it shows green (Connected), they’re ready to receive payments.
2. Set a Flat Payout Rate
From your Guide List, you can set or edit payout rates in two ways:
Option 1: Click the credit card icon to the right of the guide’s name. This opens Edit Guide Payments, where you can mark eligibility for trips and set their flat payout rate (a fixed dollar amount) for each experience the guide runs.
Option 2: Click the guide’s name, then select Manage Payout in the top right to update the same details.
After saving, these preset rates will auto-fill when paying guides—either from the Invoice Summary or through Batch Payouts—saving time and reducing manual entry. Rates are set per experience — if a payout amount shows blank or $0.00 during Submit payments, it means no rate has been saved for the experience on that trip.

Your organization also chooses which client count is used to look up that rate — the clients assigned on the booking, or the clients on the submitted guide report. 3. Streamline Your Guide Payout Workflow
When you click Submit payments from the Guide Payments tab, Brindlechute will:
Pull completed trip data
Apply each guide’s set flat rate
Calculate payout totals for your review
Let you add gratuity, confirm, and send payments via Stripe
This keeps payouts quick, organized, and consistent across your operation.
