BrokerBlocks connects directly to your CRM to automatically pull in the leads that matter most, helping you spend less time managing data and more time driving meaningful follow-ups.
š How Lead Import Works
When your account is created, your teamās CRM API key is automatically connected to BrokerBlocks, enabling a seamless sync and immediate lead import.
By default, select CRM stages and a preset timeline are used to prioritize recent opportunities. If your team hasnāt locked these settings, you can easily customize your sync preferences to control which leads appear in BrokerBlocks.
āļø Access and Customize Your CRM Settings
From your BrokerBlocks dashboard, click CRM in the top navigation to open your CRM Integration Settings. Here, you can view your CRM credentials and open Import Settings to control which stages are enabled for lead import.
By default, BrokerBlocks focuses on leads youāve already had meaningful contact with, not cold or unqualified contacts. If your team lead has granted access, you can fine-tune which leads sync by using Advanced Settings to select or deselect specific CRM stages. This keeps your dashboard focused on active, mid-pipeline leads, those most likely to convert.

š Understanding the Import Timeline
When a lead in your CRM meets the import criteria, BrokerBlocks pulls it in based on your selected import timeline. This setting controls how far back leads are synced, ensuring your account stays focused on recent, relevant opportunities.

š What If a Lead Isn't Showing Up?
No worries, this happens sometimes. A lead may not appear in BrokerBlocks if it falls outside your import timeline, doesnāt meet your import rules, or sits in a CRM stage that isnāt selected for sync.

Hereās how to bring them in manually:
š Option 1: Use the Search Bar
Use the search bar in the left-hand menu
Enter the contactās name or details and click Search
If the contact exists in BrokerBlocks, it will appear in the results
If not, click Search in CRM, then import the lead directly if found
š§© Option 2: Use the BrokerBlocks Widget Inside Your CRM
If you're using a CRM like Follow Up Boss:
Open the contactās page on FUB
If the lead hasnāt been synced, the BrokerBlocks widget will show Import Opportunity
Click it to instantly add the lead to BrokerBlocks
The widget will update once the lead is synced and Touchpoints are available
