This article explains how to duplicate an existing pass to create a new one with the same setup. It's for anyone who manages your pass catalog. If you want to change credits or pricing on an existing pass instead of creating a new one, see Create a pass.
Expected outcome: A new pass appears in your catalog with the same configuration as the original (pricing, credits, duration, activities, locations, and tags). It's a separate pass: no purchases or sales history carry over from the original.
You'll need permission to create passes to see the duplicate option. If you don't see it, ask an admin to grant you access.
What you can do
Duplicate a pass to quickly create a variant, such as a different validity period or a seasonal version, without rebuilding it from scratch.
Duplicate a pass at any time, including while it's on sale.
Adjust the new pass after duplicating it, including its name, price, credits, and activities.
Common use cases

How it works
Go to your Passes list.
Find the pass you want to duplicate.
Click the copy button next to it.
Your new pass appears immediately, with a number added to its name (for example, duplicating "10-class pack" creates "10-class pack (1)").
Open the new pass and update anything that shouldn't be identical to the original (name, price, credits, activities, and so on), then save.
The new pass is visible and enabled for sale right away, with the same setup as the original. It's fully independent: changes to one don't affect the other.
Important behaviors
Shared passes can't be duplicated. If a pass was shared with you from a franchise template, the copy option won't appear. Create a new pass instead, or ask your franchise to update the shared template.
Purchases don't carry over. The new pass always starts with zero sales, no matter how many people bought the original.
Visibility carries over. If the original pass is turned off, the duplicate is created turned off too. Turn it on manually if you want to sell it.
The new pass is always editable, even if the original was locked (for example, as part of a franchise or partner setup).
Activities and locations copy independently. Any activities, locations, or session types the original pass works with are copied to the new pass as a separate list. Changing one doesn't affect the other.
Universal Passes get their own linked pass. If you duplicate a Universal Pass, the copy comes with its own linked Appointment Pass, separate from the original.
FAQ
Q: Can I duplicate a pass that's currently on sale?
A: Yes. Duplicating a pass doesn't affect the original, so you can do this at any time.
Q: Will customers who bought the original pass see the new one?
A: No. The new pass starts empty, with no purchases or active members. It's a separate product.
Q: Can I duplicate a shared franchise pass?
A: No. Passes shared from a franchise template can't be duplicated. Create a new pass manually, or ask the franchise owner to update the shared template.
