Booking an appointment works a little differently from booking a group class. Since appointments are 1:1 or small-group sessions, members need to pick a specific service, teacher, time, and location as part of the flow. (For group classes and workshops, that's covered in a separate article on the Booking Flow.)
Members get to this flow from the Appointments tab on the Schedule page. Depending on what's available, some steps happen automatically — for example, if there's only one teacher or location to choose from, it's pre-selected for them.
Step 1 — Choose a service
Members browse the available appointment types and pick the one they want. Each one shows its name, duration, and a short description.
Step 2 — Choose an appointment type
If there's more than one appointment type for that service, members choose one. If there's only one, it's picked automatically.
Step 3 — Choose a teacher
If more than one teacher offers that service, members can pick someone specific or go with no preference. Only one teacher available? That's selected automatically too.
Step 4 — Choose a location
Same idea as the teacher step — if there's more than one location, members can choose one or say they don't mind. Otherwise, it's pre-selected.
Step 5 — Pick a time
Members choose a date and time from the slots that are actually available to book.
Step 6 — Checkout
Members review their booking and choose how to pay. Only passes valid for that specific service will show up here — and if they don't have one yet, they can buy one right on this screen.
Step 7 — All set!
Once it's booked, members see a confirmation with all the details, and the appointment shows up in their upcoming bookings.
Viewing an appointment
Tapping a booked appointment opens up all the details:
Appointment name and description
Status (e.g. Booked by you, Payment pending)
Date, time, and duration
Venue and address
Teacher
Cancellation policy
Cancelling an appointment
Members can only cancel from their My bookings page, and they'll always see the studio's cancellation policy before confirming. Depending on the studio's rules, a late cancellation might mean a credit gets deducted.
