Track attendance

In this article, you'll learn more about attendance tracking. This article now covers both the new and the previous back office.

Attendance tracking is triggered when you use no-show fees. You can find more information in the following help article.

This lets you mark your members as present or absent for each session.

Step 1: Go to the calendar

When attendance tracking is enabled, you'll see new elements showing whether the attendance lists for the day's sessions still need to be confirmed.

Step 2: Record attendance

You have two ways to record attendance:

  • Click the red or green icon on the calendar page

  • From the session's booking page: you can confirm using the button at the top left

Step 3: Change attendance

You can still change attendance for a certain period after confirming it. Simply go back to the pages from the previous step, change the status to "Present"/"Absent", and confirm attendance again.

If a member's status has been changed but attendance hasn't been confirmed yet, a warning icon will let you know. Just confirm again to make it disappear.

Step 4: Confirm all attendance lists for the day

Use the "Confirm all lists" button on the calendar page to confirm multiple attendance lists at once.

What's changed in the new back office

Attendance is now confirmed on a day-by-day basis. A yellow banner appears on any day with unconfirmed attendance. Select Confirm all to mark the complete participant list for that day at once, or confirm class by class instead.

Once attendance has been confirmed, the name of the person who confirmed it and a timestamp are saved for that day.

Note: attendance can only be confirmed within the confirmation window – see the no-show fees article to find out how this affects the timing of the fee.

What hasn't changed

Marking attendance for individual clients still works the same way – select the client in the participant list and update their status.
