As a manager, you can configure the permissions granted to your staff. New restrictions are now available for staff members. You can choose whether or not to give staff manager-level control, allowing them to force sessions. You can also set up filtered views for staff accounts based on defined teachers.
Option 1: restrict access to certain features via URLs
Go to "Settings" > "Staff" > "Add role".
At the bottom of the modal window, in the Restricted URLs section, enter the URL corresponding to the permissions you want to grant your staff (add as many as you like)
From now on, staff members with this role will only have access to the defined URLs. The other sections won't appear on the account.
Option 2: allow or prevent staff from being able to force a session booking (i.e. having manager-level control)
Go to "Settings" > "Staff" > "Add role", then scroll down in the modal window.
If you want to give staff manager-level control, check the box (it's checked by default); if not, uncheck it.
If you've chosen to remove manager-level control, staff with this role will no longer be able to force manager-level actions, such as: forcing a session booking at an unavailable venue, forcing a booking with an unavailable teacher, or exceeding the maximum number of members allowed in a session or on a waiting list.
Option 3: restrict a staff member's access to specific defined teachers
Go to "Settings" > "Staff" > on every staff account that has a role you've created, a "Select teachers" selector appears: select the teachers you want
(This selector also appears when adding staff access, if the selected role is one you've created)
A filtered view will automatically apply to this staff account. Staff will only have access to the teachers selected previously. This means only the specified teachers will appear across the different calendar and schedule views.
