Both app stores check that a real business is behind every app. The main thing they look at is your website. If you do not have one, or the address we hold for you does not load, your app cannot be submitted.
This stops more launches than almost anything else, and it is straightforward to fix.
What the stores are checking
That the site loads on a public address, over https, with no password or "coming soon" page in front of it.
That it belongs to you. The studio name on the site has to match the name on your developer account.
That it explains what you sell. Your classes, memberships or sessions, in plain terms.
That it has a privacy policy. Apple and Google both require a reachable privacy policy page. This is not optional.
That you can be contacted — an email address or a contact form.
A social media profile does not count. Google specifically rejects Instagram and Facebook pages in place of a website.
If you already have a website
Reply to our email with the address and we will check it against the list above. Most of the time only one piece is missing, usually the privacy policy.
If you do not have a website yet
You do not need anything elaborate. A single page that names your studio, describes what you offer, links a privacy policy and gives a contact address is enough for both stores.
Reply to our email and tell us where you are starting from. We will tell you exactly what the stores need in your case, and what the quickest route is.
A note on your bsport booking page
Your bsport booking page is not a substitute for a website. The stores want to see your business, not only a booking tool. It is a good thing to link from your site, though.
What happens next
You send us your website address, or tell us you do not have one.
We check it or guide you on what to put up.
Once the site is live, we confirm it and your app build continues.
Need help?
We would rather look at it with you than have the store reject it later, so do send it over even if you are not sure it is ready.
