Send a follow-up email after a trial class

This article will teach you how to send a follow-up email to a student who took a trial class but didn't came back afterwards

Step 1: Set up your Smartlist

Let's start by targeting the members who will receive this email

In Marketing >> Smartlists >> Click on Add a Smartlist at the bottom right

Fill in the name and description of the Smartlist and click on Save

Click on Add new filter on the right of your screen in the category Bookings >> First booking

Set up the filters:

  • Select 1 session

  • Tick the Present status

  • You can choose a date range for the first session, to filter on specific dates

  • Select the card used for the trial classes

Click on Add to save the filter.

Add a filter on the category Passes >> Passes

Select Doesn't have >> then tick all the passes except the passes meant for trial classes !!

Click on Add to save the filter

You will then have a list of all the members that booked a session with a trial/discovery pass and that didn't buy any more products since then

Step 2: Send the communication to the selected members.

Click on Send a Message on the left side of your screen
