How to send an automatic email when a member attends a class for the first time

The aim of this article is to show you how to configure an automatic email notification for your clients when they attend their first class

1st step: Create the template for the email

Go to Marketing >> Templates >> Add a template

You will be able to create the template of the email you want to send to your members after they attended their first class

2nd step: Create the smartlist gathering the membres that attended their first class

In Marketing >> Smartlists >> Add a Smartlist

Add a filter on Bookings >> First booking

To configure the filter:

  • Select booked 1 session

  • Tick the status Present

  • If you create this smartlist while while you have already been using bsport for some time >> add a filter "filter by date the or after the [today's date]" so that only members attending their first session from today will be taken into account

  • If you create this smartlist as soon as you start with bsport >> no need to add a filter on the date of the session

3rd step: Add an automatic sending rule

In the section Automatic Messaging >> Add a sending rule at the Entry of the smartlist

Then you will be able to add the email template that you created previously

Don't forget to click on Confirm to save the automatic sending rule

All the members that will attend their first session, from now on, will automatically be sent email template you configured 🙌🏻
