How to create auto-sending emails when a member enters or leaves the smartlist?

By creating an automatic sending rule, a marketing communication will be sent automatically when a member enters or leaves a smarlist.

To create an auto-sending rule :

Step 1: Choose the smartlist

Go to "Marketing" > "Smartlist" > Choose the desired smartlist

Step 2: Create an automatic sending rule

To send a communication when a member enters a smartlist :

  • "Automatic messaging" > "Add" below "Entry".

  • Select the type of communication

    • Email, Email template, SMS or push notification

  • Enter the subject of the message

  • Enter the content of the email

  • In the "Limit" section, select the maximum number of times the communication can be sent per entry

    • Example: If I select 1, the member will only receive the communication the first time he enters the smartlist, he or she will receive nothing the second time.

    • By default, no limit is set

    • A limit can be set to 1, 2 or 3

  • Click on "Confirm".

Congratulations, your automatic communication has been created!

To send a communication when a member leaves a smartlist: Repeat the process from step 2 above by clicking on "Add" below "Removal".

Please note :

  • It is impossible to create 2 sending rules for the same type of communication

Find the list of new automatic communications :

In the campaigns tab, you will find the list of your new automatic communications and all the information related to them.
