When sending a message to your members via a Smartlist, you can either send it immediately to the members present in the smartlist or schedule it to be sent later, at a certain time and date.

Scheduling messages for later helps you prepare your marketing communication in advance and/or define a time and date that you find most suitable and strategic.

Step 1

Enter the smartlist that you wish to schedule a message for and click on Send a message

Step 2

Once the message form is open, choose the message type that you wish to send and click on Message scheduling

By default, the message will be configured to be sent immediately.

To schedule it for later, select "Schedule for later"

You can now select to time and date for which you want the message to be scheduled and sent automatically

Then click on Schedule

Note that when scheduling a message, the exact number of recipients cannot be known before the sending is effective. The number of members present in the smartlist can indeed change between the moment that the message was created to be scheduled and when it is sent according to the scheduled time and date

Step 3

On the General tab of the smartlist, the next scheduled message that will be sent is indicated.

From here, you can click on Edit to modify either the content of the message or the date or time considered for the sending. You can also click on Delete to erase your message and cancel the scheduling. Note that the content of the message will be deleted as well and not kept as draft.

Note that editing or deleting a message is no longer possible 5 minutes before sending

Step 4

If you have several scheduled messages, you can see the whole list either by clicking on See All or by going to the Campaigns tab

All messages scheduled later are displayed here and can be as well edited or deleted as mentioned above
