Step 1: Create a tag

Click on "Marketing" > "Tags" > "Add a main tag".

Once this is done, click on the "+" button.

Then, you have to create two tags: "Yes" and "No".

Step 2: Create a category and a card: membership fee

Click on "Products" > "Passes" > "+ add a category".

Then click on "+ add a pass" which we will call "Membership fee".

Then set the number of credits to 0 and in our example, the annual fee will be 10€.

Then choose the validity: in our example it is an annual fee so we will choose 1 year.

And then, you can click on save.

Step 3: Create the smartlist to automatically apply the tag

Click on "Marketing" > "Smartlists" > "+ add a smartlist" and create the smartlist.

Then you have to "add a filter".

Select "Passes" > "Passes"

Select "Owns".

Select the pass "Registration fees".

Click on "Add".

Then you have to add the automatic tagging rules.

First, the rule "tag if present in the smartlist" for members who ALREADY own the card.

You will have to choose the member tag "yes".

And click on the save button.

Then repeat the operation with the rule: "tag if a member enters in this Smartlist".

NOTE: Automatic tagging can take up to 24 hours to update.

Step 4: Make your course cards visible ONLY to members.

Click on "Products" > "Passes" > Click on the pencil on the right.

Scroll to the bottom, then click on "Advanced".

Search for the tag "members - yes" that we created.

And then click on "Edit".

Repeat for ALL the passes except membership fees.

NOTE:

  • If your registration fees are annual, we recommend that you name the membership card "Membership Fee 2023" for example. The next one will be "Registration fees 2024", the next one "Registration fees 2025" etc...

  • You will have to repeat the steps described above for each new card you create.
