Tags can be associated with the purchase of certain items. Members performing a given purchase will thus be tagged accordingly.
The members can be tagged after the purchase of the following items :
passes (including universal passes)
appointment passes
packs
subscriptions (the tag will be added after the first payment of the subscription)
giftcards
webshop items
To associate a tag to the purchase of an item, when editing or creating the item, follow theses steps :
Step 1
Go to the bottom of the page > Click on "Advanced".
Step 2
On the "Tag after purchase" field > Add the wanted tags that you want to applied to your members after they purchase the item
Step 3
Click on Save
You are all set up! Your members will be automatically tagged with the given tags after the purchase.
Good to know
In case the tags are modified or deleted, only future purchases will be impacted
previously tagged member will keep their tags
Several tags can be applied for example with the purchase of a tagged subscription and a tagged item inside of the subscription
However, several tags cannot be applied if they are complementary (i.e. if they are part of the same "main tag" category)
only the tag of the biggest item will be applied to the item or to the member after purchase, going from Souscription > pack > pass > appointment passes > shop-item > gift cards.
if there is no bigger item
during the configuration of the item you wish to add tags on purchase to (e.g. 2 complementary tags are added to the same pass in the "tag after purchase" section), only the first tag in order of appearance will be applied
during the purchase of an item by the member (e.g. the member has bought 2 passes), the tag of the last purchased item will be applied
if the tag was first added manually or via the auto-tagging rule of a smartlist, it will overrule the priority rule stated above and the purchase of any item with a complimentary tag will not update the first tag applied
In the case that the invoice is canceled, the tags will be removed from the member.
For now, this is the only way that applied tag can be removed. The expiration of a pass for example does not remove the tag applied during the purchase
