How to create a pause on your member's subscription?

With this article, find out how to pause your members' subscriptions when they can't come to the studio.

On Bsport, it is possible to pause the subscriptions of the members during the duration of your choice and thus to postpone all their future invoicing and the validity of the pass included in the subscription. This system is useful when your member cannot go to the studio because of an illness or an injury for example.

In this article, we teach you how to pause the subscription of a particular member.

Step 1: Select the member and subscription to pause

In Members, choose the member for whom you wish to pause the subscription

On this member's page, go to Billing, and scroll down to the "Subscription" section. Choose the subscription on which you wish to apply the pause

You can also do this process from Products > Contracts, then choose the desired subscription, the list of members having subscribed to this contract is displayed, choose the member for whom you wish to apply a pause, you will be redirected to the page of his subscription

Step 2: Pause the subscription

On your member's subscription page, press the "Pause" button

Indicate the Reason for pausing (required)

Specify the date range of the pause. The dates indicated are included in the interval. The subscription will be paused for the specified period and the billings following the pause will be shifted by the number of days of the pause. The pass included in the pause interval will have its validity extended by the number of days of the pause. Finally, the start date of all subsequent passes will be shifted by the number of days of the pause.

Cancel or change the dates of the pause :

Once the pause is scheduled, to change the dates of the pause or to cancel it completely:

On your member's subscription, press the pencil at the location of your pause

To unschedule it, press "Unschedule" and confirm the action. The pause will be cancelled and the billing and validity dates will return to their initial state.

To change it and thus change the dates of the pause, press "Change dates". The operation is exactly the same as for adding a pause.
