Changes apply to future meetings only.
A recording already in progress continues until you remove the bot.
Method 1: Adjust Auto Join Settings
This is the preferred way to control when Bubbles Notetaker joins.
Steps :
Log in at app.usebubbles.com .
Ensure Auto-record meetings is ON.
Select the preferences that should trigger auto-join, for example:
I organized
I am invited to
I have not accepted
With participants from [your-domain.com]
With external participants
Only if they’re recurring
Save
Tip: We recommend installing the Chrome or Edge browser extension. This makes it easier to choose and record individual meetings without changing your global Auto Join settings.
Method 2: Remove during a live meeting
Any meeting participant can remove the notetaker while a meeting is in progress.
Steps:
When the notetaker joins, it sends a direct message to each participant with a link to remove it.
Click the removal link, and a webpage opens with options:
Delete the recording (default)
Save what has been recorded so far
Method 3: Turn off Auto Join (Not Recommended)
This disables all automatic joins while keeping your calendar connected.
Steps :
Toggle Auto-record meetings OFF and Save.
Not recommended: This turns off all automatic recording. It’s usually better to refine preferences (Method 1) instead.
Good to know
Adjust Auto Join preferences: Best option for control.
Toggle Off: Quick way to stop auto-joining, but can be turned back on anytime.
Disconnect Calendar: Permanent until manually reconnected.
Remove During Meeting: Stops recording only for the current meeting
