First, a quick heads-up
Custom names are only supported on Pro plans.
You can set a name for your own Notetaker, and workspace admins can set a default name for the whole organization.
Steps for individual users (Pro)
Log in to app.usebubbles.com
Go to Settings -> Notetaker.
Find the Custom Notetaker name field.
Enter your preferred display name.
Click Save.
Participants will now see this custom name in the meeting’s participant list and in chat notifications.
Steps for workspace admins (Pro)
Log in to Settings > Meeting Defaults
Locate the Custom Notetaker name.
Set the Organization Notetaker name.
Save changes.
This applies across all meetings in your workspace, ensuring consistent branding.
Good to know
Choose a clear, professional name so participants know the bot is an AI assistant.
The custom name shows in:
Participant list
Chat notifications
Meeting summaries and transcripts
If both workspace defaults and individual names exist, the workspace setting takes priority.

Confirm you are on a Pro plan.
Refresh your meeting platform (Zoom, Teams, Meet).
