If you’re locked out of your Buenro account, don’t worry — there are several ways to recover access quickly.
1. Forgot Your Password?
On the login screen, tap “Forgot password?”
Enter your registered email address
You’ll receive a reset link via email (check your spam folder)
Click the link and create a new password
If you don’t receive the email after a few minutes, wait and try again. You can also try using another device.
You can also update your password at any time in your account settings. While you're there, you can manage who can invite you to groups and review your blocked users list.
You are responsible for keeping your account and password secure.
2. Didn’t Receive the Verification Code?
For accounts using two-factor authentication (2FA):
Double-check that your phone number or email is correct
Request a new code
Avoid switching apps while waiting — some phones block background delivery
If the code still doesn’t arrive, tap “Try another method” or contact Support
Alternate recovery methods are being developed (Feature Coming Soon)
3. Lost Access to Your Email or Phone Number?
Tap “I no longer have access to this” when prompted
You’ll be asked to verify your identity (e.g. by uploading a government-issued ID)
In some cases, Buenro Support may reach out directly to complete the verification process
Full self-service recovery for lost access is not yet available (Feature Coming Soon)
4. Locked for Security Reasons?
Your account may be locked if:
Suspicious login activity is detected
There are multiple failed login attempts
The account is under investigation for a potential policy violation
In these cases:
Buenro Support will notify you by email
Follow the instructions in the email or reach out via the Help form
5. Still Locked Out?
If none of the above worked:
Use another device to visit the Help tab on the Buenro homepage
Submit a “Login Issue” ticket
Include relevant details:
Email linked to your account
Approximate last successful login
Screenshots (if helpful)
We aim to restore access within 24–48 hours, depending on the issue.
