Purpose and Features

The automatic launch setting added to the Click2Connect Widget is designed to improve the user experience and make widget usage more functional. This feature allows the widget to automatically open after a specified time when conditions are met. However, it is supported by rules that prevent uncontrolled interactions from starting.

Features:

Automatic Launch Timer: Users can define the time in seconds to determine when the widget will automatically open.

Single Channel and Multi-Channel Scenarios:

  • Single Channel:
    If any steps such as Form, Security Policy pages, Audio Settings, or Topic Selection for chat are active, the launcher can open automatically. If all these steps are inactive, the launcher will not open, and the automatic widget launch will be disabled.

  • Multi-Channel:
    The launcher opens automatically, but interactions such as call, chat, or video do not start. The user must manually make a selection.

User Intervention:
If the user clicks on the launcher before the specified time, the automatic launch will be disabled, and the process will continue manually.

Setup

Go to System Administrator > Click2Connect > New Click2Connect > Select Widget, then locate the "Automatic Widget Launch" setting under the General tab.

Activate the button and define your desired time in seconds.
