Review all historical events and activity

Events Tab

Within the events tab, you can review all historical events and activity, while also monitoring specific, verified real-time vents without the need to monitor all cameras simultaneously.

[A] Events

Click on "Events" in the navigation bar from any area in the desktop app to access your camera activity.

[B] Activity Feed

In the main area of the Events page, you will see your latest activity displayed as Event Cards. These are shown as the activity occurs and are displayed in descending chronological order. "Click" on any chosen Event within the activity feed to watch the full event in a pop-up modal.

[C] Search

Search for a specific event using the Search box at the top of the Activity Feed.

[D]Events History

In the right-hand column of the events page, a list of the most recent events. Events are grouped into day blocks and are identified by an event-type icon.

[E] Full Screen View

Enter into Full-Screen mode for viewing the events. By clicking to enter Full Screen, the event's history will be hidden.

[F] Display Options

Click to select a different display option for viewing events.


Types of Activity

Depending on which services you have activated, the type of events that show up within your activity log may vary.

Visitor Events (Facial Recognition)

Facial recognition visitor events that result in a notification will show within the activity monitor. These events will remain in circulation on the activity monitor for up to 7 days.

Person Detection Events (Premise Alaram)

Any person detected that results in an alarm notification will show in the activity monitor. As with the facial recognition events, these will remain in circulation for up to 7 days.

Device Events (Access Control)

Logs of locking and unlocking of devices. These events will also state which visitor prompted the device to be locked/unlocked.

Health Events (System Health)

System Health events show logs of significant changes to your system health that may require attention.


Search

Easily filter through your events based on "Date", "Cameras", "Category" and "Visitors".

[A] Search Box

Type to search for specific events.

[B] Event Filter

Click the filter icon to filter the events by date, camera and category.

[C] Date

Choose a date range that you would like to view events within.

[D] Cameras

Choose which cameras you would like to view events from.

[E] Category

Choose which type of events you would like to view.


Events History

[A] Event Cells

The Events list is made up of several individual Events. Each Event Cell contains information regarding the event which will notify you what category of event it is;

Facial Recognition: Shows if an identified visitor has been detected. Their name and where they were detected will be displayed.

Hub Status: Any changes in your hub status will show as a hub status event.

Person detection: Any person detected will show as a person detection event.

Bookmark: Any footage marked as a bookmark will appear as an event.

Geofence Status: This type of event will show if a user has entered or exited a geofence area.

Device Interactions: These events will state when device has been locked or unlocked as well as which visitor prompted the change.

[B] Viewing an Event

"Click" on any chosen Event within the activity feed to watch the full event in a pop-up modal. The event will be displayed as a series of frames put together to create a motion clip.

To view the event in full video form, select "View in Timeline" and to view the Event in full screen, you can expand the view by clicking the diagonal arrow icon on the far right side of the play bar.


Notifications within Events

[A] Notification Indicator

If an event has a notification attached to it that has not yet been viewed, a notification indicator (A green dot) will appear next to "Events" in the top navigation bar.

[B] Notification Panel

When the notification indicator is present, hover your mouse over the "Events" within the navigation bar to open the notifications panel. Here, you can see an overview of all unopened notifications. To close the panel again simply click "Dismiss".
