Events Overview

The events tab shows a history of all events. These include on-camera detections, device interactions, and system status changes.

[A] Events Tab

You can access the Events tab from anywhere in the app, by tapping the Events icon in the bottom navigation bar.

[B] Search

You may enter text to search for visitors, cameras, or bookmarks.

[C] Events History

Events are organised chronologically and are displayed in blocks representative of each day.

[D] Event

For each event that is recorded, you will see the event type as well as the time of the event. Select a row to see further information about the event.

[E] Notification Indicator

If the event has triggered a notification, you will see a small green dot next to the event to indicate a detection.

[F] Filter

Easily filter your events to find specific incidents quicker.

[G] Live View

Access a full-screen, live view of your cameras in a convenient and customisable grid view, straight from the home tab.

Event Information

Each event shows the event type, the event time, and a small description of what has happened in the event, based on your alarm settings. To see more information about the event, you can simply tap the event row.

Geofence Event

This type of event will only show if you have your alarm set to automatically arm and disarm based on user location. When tapping a geofence event, a small pop-up will show with a preview of the geofence perimeter.

Person Detection

This shows when a person is detected in front of one of your cameras. You will see the camera name just under the Person Detection log. To view the event, tap the event log to show a pop-up of the snapshot where a person has been detected. To then view the event further, tap "See More".

When tapping "See More" you will then be taken to view the event detail view.

[A] Current Snapshot

The current snapshot shown here is represented by the Playhead marker displayed as a green line in the snapshot cycle below.

[B] Detection Type

Indicates the type of detection, this is relevant when running multiple alarm types with your system.

[C] Camera

See which camera the detection was from.

[D] Watch

Tap "Watch" to see footage from this camera. Choose to either watch the camera live or watch the recording of the event from that point.

[E] Snapshots

Use your finger to scroll through the snapshot within the event. As you scroll down the snapshots, the snapshot represented by the Playhead at the top of the screen will update.

[F] Details

To see further details about the event, tap "Details". Within the details, you will be given detection details as well as the number of frames in the event. Further to this, you can download the Event from this view.

From within "Details", you also have the option to report the event as an invalid notification. This is used when you have received a person detection but cannot see any person in the event. In rare cases such as this, it is important to report the event to us as an invalid notification to help us improve the accuracy of our software.

[G] Playhead

The Playhead is shown as a horizontal green line. The snapshot that the Playhead is hovering above is the snapshot that will be shown at the top of the event screen.

[H] Download

If you wish to download the footage you are viewing, you can do so by tapping the download icon. Upon tapping download, you will be asked if you wish to download the current snapshot or, a 60-second video.

Any downloaded videos/photos will automatically be saved to the media gallery on your device for you to review at a later stage.

[I] Close

To close the Event and return to the events log, tap the X in the top right-hand corner of the screen.

New Visitor Events

This event is shown when new faces have been recorded by your cameras. You can manage your visitor preferences directly from the preview by selecting the event.

[A] See More

When tapping "See More" you will then be taken to the event detail view.

[B] Don't Alert

[D] Manage
