If the recordings from your cameras are intermittent there are a few steps you should try before contacting us.

Check your disk space

  1. To check the total disk space left on your PC, select "File Explorer" from the navigation bar, and then select "This PC" on the left. The available space on your drive will appear under "Devices and drives". If your disk is full, you will need to make some space in order for Cammy to begin recording consistently again.

Restart your camera

  1. Power cycle the affected camera by turning off or removing the power to the camera momentarily.

  2. Reconnect the camera to power. Monitor your recordings over the next 30 minutes to see if the recordings are still intermittent.

Check and restart the Cammy Windows Hub service

  1. Head to the "Services" area of your PC. This can be found by typing "Services" into the search bar at the bottom left hand side of your machine home screen or check your "Windows Administrative Tools" folder for "Services".

  2. Open up "Services" and scroll down until you find "Cammy Windows Hub". Right click on Cammy Windows Hub and then select "Restart". After 30 minutes, return to your Windows desktop app to see if your recordings are now consistent.
