Creating a Phone List
Phone lists are a useful tool for organizing and managing your contacts. With our phone list feature, you can easily filter and select specific groups of voters to contact. In this article, we will guide you through the process of creating a phone list.
Accessing the Create Phonelist Page
To begin creating a phone list, navigate to the "Phones" section of your account. Once there, click on the "Create Phonelist" button. This will take you to the Create Phonelist page.
Selecting Your Desired Location
On the Create Phonelist page, you will see a dropdown menu labeled "Location". This is where you can select the desired location for your phone list. You have the option to choose from a county, city, precinct, state house district, state senate district, or congressional district. This will ensure that your phone list is tailored to your specific needs.
Filtering Options
Once you have selected your desired location, you can proceed to filter your phone list even further. Our filtering options include party affiliation (which can include or exclude different affiliations), voter frequency, registration date, age, gender, tags, and last contacted. The most commonly used filter is the "tags" section, where you can filter by election history tags, uploaded tags (any tag that was uploaded to your account), and survey tags (collected tags). Be sure to specify whether you want to include or exclude the criteria for each filter. If you are filtering multiple options, you can toggle the option on underneath the tags to make it an "and" function (meaning the voter must apply to both tags).
Final Steps
Once you have completed your filtering options, you can move on to the final steps. Here, you can select whether you want to call cell or home phones (the list will default to home phones if none are selected). You can also choose the reliability for your phone list, with options for high, medium, or low reliability. Press "Filter", fill in the settings and press "Save". Phonelists can take up to 10 minutes to be created. You will receive an email once it is ready. Last, click "Phones" from the main menu, then "Manage Phonelist", find your phonelist and turn on the toggle in the "live column".
And that's it! You have successfully created a phone list. You can now use this list to easily manage and contact specific groups of voters. Happy campaigning!
