Welcome to CampusKnot! Creating an account is easy, and it only takes a couple of minutes. All of the information you need to get started can be found below, from creating an account to joining a course.

Don't forget that in-app sign-ups are not allowed. Before getting started, visit CampusKnot from a web browser on a computer, iPad, or tablet.

Before getting started, remember:

  • In-app sign-ups are not allowed. Please visit CampusKnot from a web browser to sign up and subscribe.

  • You can only create an account with your school's .edu email address.


Step 1: Create an account

If you already have a CampusKnot account :

If you used CampusKnot in the past and already have an account, please reset your password here to gain access to our new system.

  1. Input your .edu email address.

    • ⚠️ If you receive an error message when trying to reset your password, try signing up or verify you have typed your email correctly.

  2. You will be redirected to a screen asking you to input a 6-digit code. This code can be found inside your .edu email address.

    • If you have not received a 6-digit code, check your spam/ junk folder.

  3. Make sure you input the 6-digit code you receive in your email. This code is valid for 30-minutes.

    • Your password will not change unless you use the code inside your email and create a new password.

  4. Input a password, and make sure it includes:

    • A minimum of 8 characters

    • At least one upper-case letter

    • At least one number

    • At least one special character (~!@#$%^&*)

  5. Agree to our terms of use and privacy policy

  6. Select a subscription


If you're a new user: Welcome 🥳 !

  1. Visit our sign-up page.

  2. Input your first and last name.

  3. Add your .edu email address.

    ⚠️ You cannot use @gmail addresses or any other alternative emails to sign up. Please use your university email address to create your account

  4. Make sure that you've selected the 'student' option and you have added an email address before jumping to step #5.

  5. After selecting the 'student' option, make sure you choose a campus. You will only be able to select a campus after inputting an email address and selecting the 'student' option.

    ⚠️ If you do not see a campus option after inputting all of the information above, please email us at support@campusknot.com.

6. Input a password, and make sure it includes:

  • A minimum of 8 characters

  • At least one upper-case letter

  • At least one number

  • At least one special character (~!@#$%^&*)

7. Agree to our terms of use and privacy policy

8. You must verify your account before logging in with your new credentials.

  • Check the email address provided during step # 3.

  • If you do not get a verification email, check your junk email/ spam folder.

9. After verifying your account, please log in to CampusKnot.

10. Select a subscription


Step 2: Select a subscription

We are offering all of our users a 7-day free trial that starts two days before the beginning of the academic semester. Take a look at the options below and choose the most relevant one to you. If you're unsure of what to choose, please email us at support@campusknot.com.

⚠️ If you're a student member of the SUNY system (Albany or Buffalo campuses), you have access to CampusKnot at no cost for the entire semester.

  • Once you've created an account and subscribed to CampusKnot, you must verify your account for two-factor authentication. If you don't have your phone within reach, don't worry, you can skip this step up to 5-times.
