You can add a module inside your learning management system of choice. Whether you're using Canvas, Blackboard, D2L, etc., adding a module gives easy access to students logging in to CampusKnot from the web portal.
Canvas Users:
In your Canvas course, click Modules in the left course navigation. Instructure Community
Find the module where you want to add CampusKnot (or create a new module).
Click the + (Add item) button for that module.
In the “Add” dropdown, select External URL.
Paste your CampusKnot login URL into the URL field. Tip: We recommend copying/pasting the URL of the course you'd like to add to Canvas.
Check Load in a new tab (recommended). This prevents issues if Canvas can’t embed the site.
Click Add Item.
(Optional) Publish the module/item if it shows as unpublished.
Tip: If you don’t load in a new tab, Canvas will try to embed the site in the page, some sites block embedding, so the link may not display properly.
D2L Brightspace Users:
Select Content on the course navigation bar.
Select the module or sub-module where the link needs to be added.
Select the Upload/Create button.
From the dropdown menu select Create a Link.
In the pop-up window enter text for the link in the Title field. To meet standards for users with disabilities, do not use a long URL as the link text to show.
Enter or paste the web address in the URL field. If pasting the URL, make sure that "http://" does not appear twice at the start of the URL.
Select the Open as an External Resource checkbox. If this option is not selected, the link will not work in most browsers.
Select Create.
