When the WiFi signal on campus is weak, or you're having trouble accessing your CampusKnot app, you can still participate in class by sending an SMS/text message submission.
When you submit an answer using SMS or text messages, you will receive a confirmation message back from CampusKnot. Should you receive an error message instead of a confirmation message, below is a list of error messages and what they mean.
If the phone number is not linked to your CampusKnot account, you'll receive the following message:
“Your phone number is not linked to a CampusKnot account. Please make sure you created an account and that your phone number is entered properly.”
How to link your phone number to your CampusKnot account?
💻 Inside the computer, visit your profile > Account Settings
Don't forget you can change and update your phone number here
If the Poll response was successfully received, you'll receive the following message:
“Your response for Poll [unique poll ID#] was successful!”
If Poll # is invalid, you'll receive the following message:
"The 4-digit identification number is not valid. Please verify that the poll identification number is correct."
How to input the right Poll ID?
Make sure you're inputting the 4-digit unique code in this example (9I6K) is the poll ID. Following the code, make sure you add a '+' and your answer. Don't forget to send your response to the phone number indicated on the screen.
If you try to submit a poll response after the poll has ended, you'll receive the following message:
“Poll [Poll ID #] has ended, and your response was not received.”
If your subscription has expired, and no free trial or pilot is present, you'll receive the following message:
“Your CampusKnot subscription has expired. To continue participating, you must renew your subscription.” P
