Why Can’t I See a Preview Before Ordering?

Why we don’t offer instant previews and how the illustration process works.

Updated over a month ago

We don’t show a preview before you place your order because each artwork is created from scratch by an artist, based on the names, flowers, colors, and personalization you choose.

There is no generic or automated preview — every floral print is unique, and the layout depends entirely on:

  • The number of flowers

  • The flower types

  • The color palette

  • The ribbon or text length

  • The visual balance of your design

Because of this, a real preview doesn’t exist until an artist builds it.

How It Works Instead

  1. You place your order.

  2. Your design enters the artist queue.

  3. An illustrator creates your personalized artwork.

  4. You receive your proof, where you can approve or request changes.

This ensures you get a polished illustration, not an automatic mockup.

What About AI Previews?

We’ve tested instant AI previews many times, but they consistently fail to match:

  • the real birth flowers

  • the hand-drawn style

  • the spacing and composition

  • name placement accuracy

We don’t use previews that would mislead customers or misrepresent the final product.

You Will Always See Your Design Before It’s Printed

Even though you can’t preview it before ordering, you always receive a proof before production begins, so you can:

  • review the artwork

  • request changes

  • approve it when you’re happy

Nothing is printed until you confirm.
