What Is Auto-Approval?

Understand why we auto-approve proofs after 7 days and how the reminder system works.

Updated over a month ago

Auto-approval is a system designed to prevent orders from getting stuck when a customer doesn’t review their proof.

Here’s how it works:

1. Your proof is sent by email

The moment your illustration is ready, you receive a link to review, approve, or request changes.

2. You have 7 days to respond

If you approve the design or request changes, the process continues normally.

3. If we don’t hear from you after 7 days, the proof is auto-approved

This means your design moves into production exactly as shown in the proof.

We do this so orders don’t remain indefinitely on hold.

If you need more time, contact support — we’ll stop the auto-approval timer for you.

Once a proof is auto-approved, the order can no longer be changed or canceled — it immediately enters production.

P.S.: Auto-approval only happens when there’s no response at all. As long as you interact with your proof link, your order will never move forward without your input.
