What is E911 Location?

Enhanced 911 (E911) is a system used to automatically provide your location to 911 dispatchers in case of an emergency.

Because the CaptionCall app is a softphone, we require our users to have registered information that complies with US 911 regulations.

To support the safe operation of E911 services, please ensure that your address is entered correctly in your CaptionCall app.

  • Open the menu options by tapping the menu icon

  • Tap E911 Location

  • Ensure your address is correct
