CASA Loyalty Walkthrough

Written by Ateeb

Welcome to the CASA Loyalty Walkthrough! This guide offers a comprehensive overview of our app's key sections to help you design an engaging loyalty program that delights your customers and grows your Shopify store. Ready to unlock loyalty success? Let's dive in! 🎉

1. Program

The Program section is where your loyalty magic begins! Here, you define how customers earn rewards and engage with your program across six sub-tabs: Points, Referral, VIP, Surprise & Delight, Limited-time Offer, and Activity. See the Overview of the Program Tab for details on each.

2. Customers

Get to know your loyalty members better with the Customers section. View and manage every loyalty member — filter by status, check their points balance and VIP tier, adjust balances manually, review their full activity history (Points / Referrals / VIP / Rewards tabs), and manage their status (Block / Delete). See Managing Customers in Casa Loyalty.

3. Branding

Your loyalty program should feel like an extension of your store. The Branding section ensures that every customer interaction matches your brand's identity. It has four groups:

  • Loyalty Widgets & Landing Page — Widget Theme (colors, shapes, launcher, panel styling) / Landing page / Customer Email (v1 — deprecated).

  • Loyalty Nudges — Account Creation / Points Spending / Reward Usage — on-site nudge displays to encourage engagement.

  • Referral Sharing — Three cards for customising referral messaging: Referral Sharing (checkout thank you page) / Referral Friend Landing (popup for referred friends) / Referral Sharing Guest (post-checkout guest referral). See Customising Referral Sharing Displays.

  • On-site content and extensions — Point balance on account page / Checkout Thank You Page / Points on cart page / In-cart redemption (Coming soon) / Points on product page / Customer Account Pages.

  • Checkout Extensions (Coming soon) — Redeem points dropdown / Redeem Points Input Field / Potential Points Banner / Refer Friends After Checkout / Apply Reward Dropdown.

4. Notifications

The Notifications section lets you manage automated loyalty emails sent to customers. There are five email templates across two groups:

  • Referral: Referral Received, Referral Completed

  • Points: Points Earned, Reward Redeemed, Birthday Reward

Each email uses a block-based editor (Heading, Text, Points balance box, Button blocks) with a live preview, HTML editing, and a "Send test email" button. See How to Set Up Loyalty Email Notifications.

5. Actions

The Action Center is where you review and approve customer-submitted loyalty actions that require manual verification before points are awarded. Two tables: submissions (All/Pending/Approved/Cancelled) and processed items (All/Pending/Processed). See Understanding the Action Center.

6. Translations

Manage the language your loyalty program displays to customers. Add languages, edit translations across six areas (General / Widgets / Landing / Nudges / Notifications / Extensions), and enable/disable languages per market. Supports auto-detection and multi-market. See How to Translate Your Loyalty Program.

7. Settings

Fine-tune the mechanics of your loyalty program. Eight cards:

  • General — View and update your store details.

  • Language — Manage the program language your customers see.

  • API Keys — Manage API keys for external integrations.

  • Discount API — Manage the discount generation method.

  • Platform — Order settings, financial status triggers, shopping channel (Online/POS/In-store), product/customer tag exclusions, order parts eligible for rewards, minimum spend for redemption, and point expiry.

  • Customer Account Link — Choose the page used by the customer account button.

  • Points banner link — Set the "Learn more" link for the points banner on product and cart pages. See How to Edit the "Learn More" Link on Any Casa Loyalty Extension.

  • Program participants — Manage who can participate in your loyalty program.

8. Integration

Connect Casa Loyalty with third-party tools. Currently supported integrations: Judge.me (reviews), Gorgias (customer support helpdesk), and Klaviyo (email marketing). See the relevant integration articles for setup steps.
