What this integration does
Once connected, customers will earn loyalty points for verified product reviews submitted through Loox. This boosts engagement, increases trust with photo/video social proof, and encourages more reviews and repeat purchases.
Before you start
Make sure you have the following ready:
Loox installed on your Shopify store
Loox Convert plan or higher — API access and webhooks (required for this integration) are not available on the Loox Beginner plan
Loox actively collecting reviews on your store before proceeding
Don't have Loox installed yet? Install Loox from the Shopify App Store before continuing.
Step 1: Open the Loox integration in Casa Loyalty
From your Shopify admin, go to Casa Loyalty.
In the left-hand menu, click Integration.
Select Loox from the list of available integrations.
You'll see an overview explaining that connecting Loox lets customers earn points for verified reviews.
Step 2: Get your Loox API credentials
You'll need your Public Store ID from Loox to connect the two apps.
In your Shopify admin, open the Loox Reviews app.
Go to Settings → API keys.
Under Public Store ID, click to copy your store ID (this is safe to use in front-end code).
Note: You'll also see a Secret API Keys section here — this is used for authenticating merchant API requests and should never be shared or exposed publicly. You won't need it for this integration; only the Public Store ID is required to connect.
Step 3: Connect Loox to Casa Loyalty
Head back to Casa Loyalty → Integration → Loox.
Paste your Public Store ID into the field provided.
Click Connect to Loox.
Once connected, you'll see a confirmation message:
✅ "Your Loox store is connected. Complete the webhook setup in Step 3 to start rewarding review points."
A Disconnect button will also appear, which you can use at any time to unlink the integration.
Step 4: Register the Casa Loyalty webhook in Loox
Connecting your Public Store ID links the accounts, but Casa Loyalty also needs a webhook so it's notified in real time whenever a new review comes in.
Casa Loyalty will display a Webhook URL on the same integration page — click Copy to copy it.
In your Loox admin, go to Settings → API keys and scroll down to the Webhooks section.
Click Add endpoint.
Paste the Webhook URL you copied into the Endpoint URL field, then click Continue.
In the Select events screen, choose the review events you want to trigger points. Under Store review events, enable New review submitted (you can also enable Review updated and its sub-events like Customer edit, Reply added, etc. if you'd like those to sync too).
Click Add endpoint.
You'll see a confirmation toast: "Webhook endpoint added." Your new endpoint will now appear in the Webhooks list showing how many events it's subscribed to.
Step 5: Set up your earning rule
With the accounts connected and the webhook registered, turn on the actual points reward in Casa Loyalty:
Go to your Earning Rules settings in Casa Loyalty.
Enable the "Write a Review" rule.
Set how many points customers should earn per verified review.
Once this is turned on, customers will automatically receive loyalty points for every verified review they submit through Loox.
Troubleshooting
Can't find API access or webhooks in Loox? Confirm your store is on the Convert plan or higher — these features aren't available on the Beginner plan.
Connection not going through? Double-check you copied the full Public Store ID with no extra spaces.
Customers aren't earning points? Confirm the webhook endpoint was added successfully in Loox, the correct review events are enabled, and the "Write a Review" earning rule is turned on in Casa Loyalty.
