  • Start (and record) a live video call for an interactive survey.

  • Store all videos securely and access them later with ease.

With LiveSwitch Contact, there’s no need for apps or downloads—making it seamless for your customers to use.

By integrating LiveSwitch Contact with Chariot, everything is at your fingertips:

  • Quick Access: Start a video call or generate a video link directly from the Inventory tab of any job.

  • Centralized Storage: View recorded videos directly on the job page in Chariot. No need to switch platforms!

  • Seamless Workflow: Keep all your communications, photos, and videos organized within the lead/job details in Chariot.

Setting Up the Integration

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations

  2. Click on LiveSwitch Login

    1. If you have a LiveSwitch account already, proceed to log in.

    2. New to LiveSwitch? - Get started here.

  3. Log in using your LiveSwitch credentials:

  4. You'll be redirected back to Chariot - you'll be all set to start using LiveSwitch right in Chariot.


How to Start Using LiveSwitch Contact in Chariot

  1. Navigate to the Inventory Tab

    1. Open the job in Chariot and go to the Inventory tab.

  2. Start a LiveSwitch Session

    1. For Recorded Video Links: Click to generate a link that your customer can use to record their space at their convenience.

    2. For Live Video Calls: Start a session and invite your customer to join instantly.

  3. View and Manage Videos

    1. Once videos are recorded, they’ll automatically appear in the job details, alongside photos and other files.

LiveSwitch Contact - Frequently Asked Questions

Please note: the following FAQ's pertain to the LiveSwitch experience and may not be directly related to how you'll interact with LiveSwitch within Chariot.

Device Permissions

Click HERE for help troubleshooting device permission issues.

Link Expiration

  • Links for live conversations and recording requests expire 30 days after they are sent.

  • Multiple recordings using the same link are stored under the same Session and numbered for easy review.

Notifications

  • You’ll receive an email alert when a customer’s recording is ready to view.

  • Note: Chariot notifications for LiveSwitch video uploads are not on by default. You can adjust your notifications by going to Settings > Notifications > LiveSwitch Video Upload

User Roles

  • Users: Can only view their videos; cannot edit other users or settings.

  • Admins: Have full access to all features, settings, and recordings.

Contacts Section

  • The Contacts section lists all individuals interacted with via LiveSwitch.

  • Video sessions can also be accessed on the respective contact record.

Sharing Recordings

  • You can share videos with individuals without LiveSwitch logins. Use the paperclip icon on the session page to share videos.

Snapshots

  • Snapshots can be taken during live calls or while reviewing recordings using the camera icon in the interface.
