To create a discount code, go to Manage --> Discount Codes and click New Discount Code.

When is the code valid?
First day the code is valid
Last day the code is valid
Valid dates are based on:
Booked date (the date the booking is made)
Event date (the date the event is scheduled to take place)
Ex: You want to offer a discount for events held in January, so you would make the dates the code is valid for Jan 1 to Jan 31, and set the valid date based on Scheduled Event Date. The code can be used any time but will only be valid for events that take place in January.
Valid days of the week.
You can set a discount code to be valid on certain days of the week.
Additional settings:
Allow customers to redeem this code on proposals? Yes or No
Maximum Number of Redemptions (leave blank for unlimited uses)

Where does the customer enter the discount code?
On the last step of online booking, the client will have a chance to enter the discount code before they sign and pay:
If the client is accepting a proposal, and you have a discount code that applies to their order, the client can enter the code in the Numbers section when they preview the proposal.
Can I add the discount code to a proposal before I send it?
Yes. You will need to create the proposal first, then you will be able to apply the discount code. The discount will appear on the client's invoice when they view the proposal.
To apply a discount to a proposal, scroll down to the lower right section of the proposal, in the Payments and Balance box, and click Edit.
Then in the upper right, click Apply Discount Code to apply the discount to the proposal before it is sent to the client.
