There are two ways to send a message from a booking in Check Cherry:
New Email or New Text Message - allows you to write a quick message without using a template. Note that you cannot add or remove recipients from an existing email thread - only on new threads.
Quick Send - provides you with a list of message templates to choose from.
Quick Send will bring up a list of templates for you to choose from. Select the message you want to send and click the arrow to the right of the template to send it immediately, or click the down arrow for more options.
How are message templates organized in the Quick Send list?
Message templates in the Quick Send list are divided into 3 categories:
Custom Templates - message templates you have created.
Automated Messages - message templates that are active in the automated messages section.
System Templates - messages that are automatically included and cannot be deleted. Ex: Send Proposal, Customer and Staff Invitation.
There are many automated message templates in Automated Messages that are not active unless you enable them. To enable a new one, go to Manage --> Automated Messages, click on New Message, then choose a template group and a template then save the template. Now go back to the Automated Messages tab and the new message template will appear in your list under the category it is assigned to (Bookings, Proposals, Leads, Other)
