Switching markets & currency

ChekIntel is locale and provider aware. Switching market rescopes data, currency, channels and USSD code.

The market switcher in the dashboard header changes the active country. Everything on the page is locale and provider aware, so switching does more than translate a currency symbol.

WHAT CHANGES WITH THE MARKET

• Currency — every money figure reformats to that market's symbol. • Channels — only the channels live in that market are offered, and USSD codes differ per country. • Providers — the telcos and payout rails available follow the market. The footer of the payout-mix card names the providers currently active there. • Regions — the canonical state list used by conditions, region tiers and centre registration.

READ THE SWITCHER ITSELF

Each entry in the menu shows the market's flag and name alongside its currency symbol and USSD short code. It is the quickest way to confirm you are reading Naira and not Shillings before you interpret a number.

WHY IT MATTERS WHEN BUILDING

Because availability is market-driven, the campaign builder only offers reward and channel options actually connected for the selected country. Set your market first; the rest of the workspace adapts to it. This is also why one campaign can run across several markets without being re-authored.
