How does the mystery prize work?
During the campaign, every successful referral unlocks a scratch card in the Chexy mobile app. When your friend signs up with your referral link and activates their first payment, you'll be able to scratch your card to reveal how much Chexy Cash you've won.
You (the referrer) win a mystery amount between $20 and $100 in Chexy Cash
Your friend gets $20 in Chexy Cash, just like our standard referral reward
Every referral during the campaign is eligible for a scratch card — there's no limit to how many friends you can refer.
When do I get to scratch my card?
Your scratch card becomes available once your referred friend activates their first payment in Chexy. Simply sharing your link isn't enough — your friend needs to sign up using your referral link and set up their first payment for the referral to count.
How do I claim my prize?
Scratching your card and claiming your prize can only be done in the Chexy mobile app.
Open the Chexy mobile app
Tap the menu icon and select Referrals
Find your available scratch card and scratch to reveal your prize
Claim your prize to have the Chexy Cash added to your account
How long do I have to claim my prize?
You have 30 days from when your scratch card becomes available to scratch and claim your prize. After 30 days, an unclaimed prize expires, so be sure to open the app and claim it while it's active.
How do I use my Chexy Cash?
Once claimed, your winnings are added to your Chexy Cash balance and can be applied toward your upcoming payments. For a full rundown on redeeming, see Chexy Cash & Referral Credits.

Scratch cards can only be viewed and claimed in the mobile app.
Your friend must sign up with your unique referral link and activate their first payment for the referral to qualify.
Prizes must be claimed within 30 days of becoming available.
Chexy Cash can be applied toward payments but cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
Chexy reserves the right to revoke a prize if your friend's first payment is not completed, or if we find evidence of abuse or manipulation of the referral program.
