Chexy Cash and referral credits can be redeemed to reduce the cost of your upcoming payments. Here's everything you need to know.
When Is Chexy Cash Credited to My Account?
Your Chexy Cash is added to your account after your payment has been successfully completed. This includes when:
Your bill payment has been sent
Your e-Transfer has been deposited
Your PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) has been withdrawn
Your EFT has been processed
How to Redeem on an Existing Payment
Click on "Wallet" in the main menu.
Your credit balance will be displayed with a "Redeem" button.
Click "Redeem" and choose the amount to apply to your next payment.
How to Redeem on a New Payment
You can also redeem your Chexy Cash or referral credit directly on the checkout screen when setting up a new payment.
How Redemption Works
The redeemed amount will be applied to the next card charge scheduled in Chexy.
Make sure to redeem your Chexy Cash before your card gets charged — that's 4 days before the due date for existing payments.
Important Notes
Credits can be redeemed towards recurring payments and one-time payments (including same-day).
Referral balances were previously called "Rent Cashback" at Chexy — they work the same way.
Chexy Cash cannot be withdrawn or transferred — it can only be applied toward payments through your Chexy account.
