There's no direct way to edit the email recipient for a recurring e-Transfer payment, however, there certainly is a workaround.
If your payee's email address has changed, you must pause the current payment and create a new one with the updated email transfer details.
How to Update the Payee’s Email Address
From the Dashboard, click on the recurring payment you wish to pause.
On the Recurring Payment Details page, click "Pause."
If you want to permanently delete the old payment, click "More", then select "Delete Payment."
⚠️ Note: Deleting the payment will delete all transaction history associated with it, if you want access to this payment history in the future, we'd recommend simply pausing the payment.
Click "New Recurring Payment" on the Dashboard and set up a new Interac e-Transfer payment using the updated email address.
Once your new payment is active, you’re all set! ✅
