Need to add time for an employee who couldn't clock in? The manual time card feature lets you easily record hours for Time Worked, PTO, and Travel.
Quick Access to Manually Add a Time Card
Save time by using the + icon in the blue header on every screen. How's that for easy?
Simply select Add > Time Card to begin.
Creating a Time Card
Select the employee and date from the dropdowns, then Next
Select the entry type (Time Worked, PTO, or Travel), then Next
Specify Job, Team/Shift, and Pay Type Description
Enter the time using either:
Duration Only
Clock In/Out times
Optional: Add scheduled time to keep 'actual vs scheduled' accurate.
Deduct a meal or unpaid break time if needed
Save your entry
Identifying Manual Time Cards
Manual entries are easy to spot:
Look for the 'person with pencil' icon on the time card
A green dot appears on the daily cell
These indicators help you quickly distinguish between system-recorded and manually-entered time.
