People do need time off - and sometimes you will pay them. You can enter PTO, Paid Time Off, directly into Chronotek Pro. These hours are separated from other time cards.
One-time setup for PTO Pay Codes and PTO Names
Settings > Payroll > Pay Codes > select the PTO pay code > make the changes.
Add PTO Time Cards
Use the Add Time Card Wizard at the top of the screen to add a PTO time card.
Click the plus + button
Add Time Card
Select the employee and date > Next:
Select PTO > Next:
Enter the hours and select the Pay Type > Next:
The PTO time card is now added.
Voila! PTO is separated out from regular hours.
If you need to adjust the PTO default pay type names, do that under Settings > Payroll > select the Pay Profile you wish to edit > select the Pay Type to edit.
Maybe you need to Prepare Payroll Hours next.
