Learn how Team Managers and Observers personalize alert settings for time cards, employee events, and supply updates through the mobile app.

Overview

Field supervisors can customize how they receive notifications for important events. Choose between app notifications, SMS alerts, or Notification Feed based on your Notification Levels.

Steps to Configure Notifications

1. Access Notification Settings

  1. Open the Chronotek Pro mobile app

  2. Tap "More" in the bottom right corner

  3. Select "Manage Notifications"

2. Set Up SMS Alerts (Optional)

  • Toggle SMS consent for high-priority notifications

  • Note: Additional charges apply for SMS messaging

3. Customize by Category

Navigate to each section to manage specific alerts:

  • Time Cards

  • Employee Events

  • Supply Updates

4. Adjust Notification Levels

  1. Tap "Notification Levels" to view available options:

    • Low: Activity log only

    • Medium: Activity log + push notifications

    • High: Activity log + push notifications + SMS

  2. Set your preferred threshold for:

    • Team Manager alerts

    • Team Observer alerts

5. Save Your Changes

  • Tap "Save" to apply your new notification preferences

  • Settings take effect immediately

Important Notes

  • Settings must remain within company-defined minimum thresholds

  • You can update these preferences anytime

  • Different events may have different available notification levels
