It is easy for field supervisors to add employees with the Chronotek Pro mobile app

Life is busy. Supervisors who need to hire on the spot can use the “Hire an Employee” option on the supervisor app.

How Supervisors Hire From the Field

  1. Click on Teams at the bottom of the app

  2. "Hire Employee" at the top right

  3. Complete the form fields

The hiring process above does not send the employee an invitation. Here's how to send the invitation:

How to Send Employee Invitations for the Pro App

The admin or supervisor can send an invitation to the new employee directly via SMS text from their phone.

  1. On the supervisor app - open Teams

  2. Select All Members

  3. Choose the person

  4. Click the “Invite” icon

  5. Your native text app opens to send the message.

Once the employee has been onboarded successfully, the “Invite” link will no longer appear on their employee profile.

Supervisor's Hiring Rules

  • Supervisors may only add employees to the Teams they manage.

  • Supervisors may only add the role of “Employee” (Supervisors cannot add other supervisors or administrators to the system).

New Hire Notifications

Supervisors may get activity feed events, in-app push notifications, or SMS texts for new hires that happen from both the Supervisor App and the Admin site “Add Employee” wizard. Supervisors will get this notification when an employee has been hired to a team they manage/observe.

How to Set Up New Hire Notifications

  1. Click More

  2. Manage Notifications

  3. Employees

  4. New Hire

  5. Set levels, save
