When you don't use Chronotek hours for payroll you can turn off the reminder.

Have you seen these Auto-Close Reminders on the Time dashboard? If you do not use Chronotek for payroll, you can turn off this reminder, as we don't want it to be an annoyance.


How to Disable Auto-Close Payroll Period Reminders

For your convenience, the system has an Auto-Close Payroll processor. However, you may want to turn off the reminders:

Go to Settings > Payroll > Payroll Period:

The auto-close allows payroll periods to be closed with time cards that are not yet batched.

  • The “Approve Payroll” tab may show “unbatched” time cards. The is a read-only screen.

  • No issues can be resolved in these closed pay periods. Even red critical issues just get rolled into the closed pay period.
