Red Tiles Indicate Critical Issues That Must Be Fixed

All About the Red Issues Tiles

The red tiles are critical issues and must be fixed before you can run payroll. Some of the critical issues include:

  • Failing to clock out

  • Clocking into an Unknown Job

  • Pending travel time

  • Missing pay rates

How to Review and Fix the Critical Red Tile Issues

Click into a red tile, such as "Missed Clock Out," to filter on those issues.

There are seven missed clock-outs to fix before you can run payroll. Click into the red cell for Anna Lee on Thursday.

The next screen is where you fix the issue. Manually enter the correct clock-out time or use the time picker and save.

You fixed Anna's missed clock-out for Thursday, and now there are six more to correct for other employees. Notice that Anna's cell for Thursday isn't red anymore, but there is a red dot to indicate someone corrected it.

Time card management doesn't have to be a headache. In fact, as you click into tiles, fix issues, and see the issue numbers going down, you might find the process delightfully addictive.
