Why do you need my Tax Number?

When your Cirro profile states that your country of residence is …

  • within the US you need to provide your Tax Number or

  • outside of the US, you need to provide your national Tax Number.

Your earnings may be subject to income tax in your country of residence. Freelancers themselves are responsible for turning in their invoices to their tax authorities.

How do I obtain a Tax Number?

You obtain your Tax Number from your local tax authorities. Please contact them if you have any questions regarding an ID or the taxation of your income.

I have funds in my Cirro account. When will I be able to withdraw it?

Cirro payments are made once per month. Paid work from last month is paid in the current month. Paid work from the current month will be paid next month. More information about the billing cycle is available here.

Why haven’t I received my payment via the bank account option yet?

Banks usually take between 1 – 3 days to process transactions depending on the bank and local legislation. It can take a couple of days until the payment is received in your bank account.

I requested funds to my PayPal account, but it turned out that it is not suitable for receiving payments. What should I do?

You need to use another payment method and do the following steps:

  1. Provide the second payment method in your Cirro profile and make it Active.

  2. Contact the support and provide a) the PDF invoice of the failed payment, b) your old payment data, and c) your new payment data. The team will take the necessary steps to attempt a second payment to your new payment method.

I have added my Billing information before, but I moved/got married/divorced and now my Last Name/Address is no longer valid. What should I do?

If you changed the Last Name and Address you need to edit your Last Name in your Tester Profile Settings on the Test IO platform, and then you can proceed with editing your Payment Method Address and submit a new Tax Form on the Cirro platform as well.

If you only changed your Address, you need to edit your Payment Method Address and submit a new Tax Form on the Cirro platform as well.
