How to Configure a Foreign Bank Account

Quickly learn how to configure a foreign bank account

Even though the list of supported countries per payment method is quite extensive, some countries by default are not supported for bank transfer using the third-party payment provider.

However, there is a solution (workaround) available that is necessary to improve user experience due to certain limitations.

Before you proceed with adding a foreign bank account for payments, make sure that you prepare a valid address and bank account in the targeted country (Europe, or US, or the UK). This step is needed, so you can add the bank account you received (e.g., from Payoneer, Revolut, or PingPong) in a foreign currency.

Adding a Foreign Bank Account

  1. Go to the page Payout in your Cirro profile to set up your payout data. You can reach this page if you click on the Account drop-down and then select Account & Payout Settings.

  2. Click on the Billing tab.

  3. Click on the Add Payout Method button.

  4. Adding the Payout Method consists of two steps: The first one is the General Information step, and the second one is selecting the Payout Method.

  • In the General Information step, you will need to add information about yourself, such as First and Last name, Email, Country, and Address, and make sure that the entered info is valid and correct. When you finish adding the required info, you can proceed to the next step by clicking on the Next button.

  • In the second step, you will need to select the Payout Method. Choose Bank Transfer.

    • For Bank Transfer, you will need to add the Routing Number, Account Number, and Name of the Account Holder (the name should match the name provided in the General Information step).

The currency from the bank account you received from the online service must match the local currency of the country you added in General Information.

  • Click the Add and Activate button > You will see the confirmation screen

  • Dismiss the pop-up by clicking on the Done button.

  • Finally, change the address you previously entered by adding your current address. Click on the Edit button next to the Active payment method. Enter your real address and save the changes.
