Sometimes, after verbally agreeing to a booking, a casual can update their availability to 'Unavailable' (UA) in ClassCover. It’s important for your records to still proceed with the booking through your account.

You can still place a pre-confirmed booking with a casual marked as 'Unavailable' (UA) if you’ve already spoken to them and confirmed the booking. However, if another school has already booked the casual on ClassCover, you won’t be able to proceed with the booking.

Things to Keep in Mind

Before making the booking, ensure that the casual is only unavailable because you’ve already made a verbal agreement with them, and not because they are booked elsewhere. This step is critical for accurate record-keeping.

To continue with the booking:

  1. Click on the 'UA' cell next to the casual’s name.

  2. Confirm that your school has booked them.

  3. Proceed with the booking as usual.

Once confirmed, the red 'UA' will change to a red 'B' to indicate that the casual is Booked.
