You can cancel or edit a booking on ClassCover via your school's calendar page. Here you can delete or edit a booking one at a time (or just one) or use 'Bulk Actions' to edit or delete a series of bookings, which is handy if you have booked a teacher for a long block and need to update or cancel and don't want to do this one at a time.
Note: Teachers and other casual staff are unable to cancel bookings via the ClassCover app and there are good reasons as to why we don't have that feature available. If they need to cancel a booking, they will need to reach out to your school themselves. Please ensure that you have the correct contact details on your school profile for cancellations.
How to edit / update or delete a single booking
Click on booking in the calendar
Choose 'edit' or 'cancel'
On 'edit' you can update details. The teacher will be notified of changes via email immediately.
on 'Cancel' you can send a reason for cancellation then click 'confirm'. They will be notified of the cancellation along with your reason immediately.
How to edit / update or delete bookings in bulk
In the calendar, click on 'Bulk Actions'
Type in the name and date range of the bookings you wish to delete or update.
Click on the bookings you need to change or update
Click delete or update. If you are deleting a series of bookings, the teacher will receive notifications of the days they are no longer booked.
