As a casual, managing your availability is crucial for receiving bookings through ClassCover. The Calendar feature allows you to easily update and track your availability, ensuring schools know when you are free to take on shifts. Here’s a guide on how to make the most of your ClassCover calendar.
View and Navigate Your Calendar
Once you’ve logged into your ClassCover profile, navigate to the 'Calendar' tab. Here, you can:
View all upcoming bookings and availability.
See which dates you have marked as available or unavailable.
Track past bookings and scheduled shifts.
Update Your Availability
Keeping your availability up-to-date is essential to ensuring you receive booking invites. Here’s how to update your availability on ClassCover:
On the Web Version:
Log in to your ClassCover profile.
Go to the ‘My Calendar’ tab.
Select the date(s) you want to update. Click on the day, then choose whether you’re available or unavailable for either a full or half day.
For block dates, use the Recurring Update tool to mark multiple dates in one go.
On the Mobile App:
Open the ClassCover app.
Tap on the ‘Calendar’ tab at the bottom of the screen.
Select the date(s) you want to update and mark them as available or unavailable.
You can also mark availability as half-day (AM or PM) if you’re only available for part of the day.
Marking Dates as Unavailable
If you know in advance that you’ll be unavailable on certain days, make sure to mark those dates as unavailable:
On the web or mobile app, click on the date and select the ‘Unavailable’ option. This ensures that schools won’t send you booking requests on those days.
You can also mark specific times as unavailable, giving you more flexibility in managing your schedule.
Set Half-Day Availability
If you only have part of the day available, you can mark your availability as a half-day (AM or PM). This helps schools know exactly when you’re free and increases the chance of receiving a booking.
View Your Upcoming Bookings
Your calendar allows you to see your upcoming bookings. For each booking, you can:
View booking details: Check the time, school, and any other important information.
Make adjustments to your availability to avoid conflicts with existing bookings.
Troubleshooting Calendar Issues
If you're having trouble with your calendar, such as changes not appearing or issues with availability settings, try the following:
Ensure you’re logged in to the correct profile.
Refresh the page or restart the app.
Clear your browser's cache and cookies if you're using the web version.

Helpful Tips:
Don't leave dates as ‘Hasn’t Indicated’: If you leave your availability status as ‘Hasn’t Indicated,’ schools may not consider you for bookings.
